New Web site for Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) now available
Beginning June 30, 2009, at 3:05 p.m., Pacific Time (PT), employers can access Link2Gov – a Metavante® company, the State’s new data collector. EFT payroll tax deposits that settle on July 2, 2009, or after can be reported through this new payment site.
Employers who report their payments on the telephone will continue to call (800) 554-7500. Telephone service will not be available June 30, 2009, from 3 p.m. PT to 9 a.m. PT, July 1, 2009, while the telephone number is being transferred from govOne to Link2Gov – a Metavante® company.
Changes include:
- Employers can still use their EFT registration and existing security code with Link2Gov – a Metavante® company. However, Link2Gov – a Metavante® company also requires a password. The first time you use the payment site, click first time user and then set your password.
- You will no longer be required to calculate a verification code.
